The 1990's introduced a new arm of the law with the increased awareness in the community of environmental issues and the impact various activities can have on the environment. As a new area of the law, and whilst it is not practised by many lawyers, our firm has recognised the importance of establishing an experienced team in this area.
The commencement of the Integrated Planning Act 1997 saw the beginning of a state wide planning scheme review which added to the expansion of town planning law and local government law.
With the continued development on the Gold Coast, our firm is able to provide services in regards to both the Planning and Environment Law and Local Government Law.
