Having lived on the Gold Coast for most of his life, Geoff was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 1978 and was a partner in the firm from 1979 to 2007. During his years in practice, Geoff developed considerable expertise in complex litigation cases in the Federal and Supreme Courts ranging from trade practices claims to construction disputes. Geoff is also a registered Arbitrator and has been a member of the Institute of Arbitrators since 1996.
